Police seized drugs worth more than R200 000 during an intelligence driven operation conducted by the Komani K9 unit, together with the Mlungisi Crime Prevention Unit in Mlungisi township on Friday, December 10.
Police spokesperson captain Lariane Jonker said three men aged between 28 and 35 were arrested for dealing in drugs, including 20g of Tik, 20 mandrax tablets and 62 envelopes of dagga.
“Police also found four plastic bags with loose dagga, and two 20l drums of loose dagga with a total estimated street value of about R238 000.
Jonker said that in a separate incident a 25-year-old man was arrested for dealing in drugs when found in possession of five units of Tik, three Mandrax tablets, five half Mandrax tablets and six quarters of Mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R700-00.
Police also recovered suspected stolen electrical goods including a microwave and two speakers valued at R1 950.
