Businessman
and community developer, Masonwabe Fuma, is the pride and joy of Komani after
winning a continental award at the Forty under 40 Africa Awards in Ghana on
March 26.
Fuma,
currently based in Johannesburg, was crowned 2022 Africa Honorary Award for
Community Development and Africa Forty under 40 class of 2022.
“I
am humbled by this milestone and recognition. It is a result of many years of
commitment and hard work developing and empowering our communities under
privileged young people. The award is special in that it ranks me at a
continental level as a continental icon,” Fuma said.
The
ceremony was staged at Kampinski Hotel in Accra with Fima attending
virtually.
The
Forty under 40 Africa Awards aims to identify, honour, and celebrate a cross
section of the continent’s most influential and accomplished young business
leaders under the age of 40.
It
covers a wide range of industries looking, among others, at professional
excellence and community development.
