The Overberg will soon be buzzing with the inaugural Outdoor &
Overlanding Expo at the Elgin Country/Sports Club in Grabouw.
The Outdoor & Overlanding Expo is a new annual event and will be hosted from Friday 3 to Sunday
5 November.
The Grabouw Elgin Country / Sports Club offers an excellent venue to host the Western Cape’s latest
open-air adventure event with all things outdoor and 4×4, including a variety of exhibitors, large kiddies
entertainment area, camping equipment, 4×4 vehicles, trailers, caravans and off-road caravans, 4×4
accessories and equipment, overland expeditions, braai equipment, food vendors, beer & craft gin
garden, indoor wine & cheese tasting, cigar & whiskey lounge, and much more!
Saturday fun activities:
try you luck at “Crank-start the Series Landy”, fun tyre games. Attempt the challenging Grabouw 4×4
route on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday – currently closed due to severe damage due to flooding.
The venue offers ample parking for around 3 000+ day-visitor vehicles, breathtaking views, a large and
level exhibitor area, and chees & wine tasting indoor facility.
The main focus of the Outdoor & Overlanding Expo is on family fun and entertainment of people living
an outdoor and overlanding lifestyle, be it with or without their own 4×4 vehicle – a huge variety of used
off-road vehicles, trailers and caravans will also be on display.
Day visitors can book and pay on the website www.lrclassic.com or get their tickets at the gate. Please
buy your tickets online to avoid long queues at the entrance gate. Weekend camping sites are available
and must also be booked on www.lrclassic.com.
Day visitor tickets range from R20 to R50 per person per day. Weekend camping for Friday and Saturday
night costs R250 per person.
Camping sites are limited, so book early for your spot.
The Outdoor & Overlanding Xpo is open for the public from Friday 3 November (12:00 till 18:00),
Saturday from 08:00 till 18:00, and Sunday from 08:00 till 15:00.
