Music lovers can look forward to a wonderful experience when the Pro Musica Choir of Hermanus will present their annual Easter concert on Sunday 29 March at the Hermanus Dutch Reformed mother church.
The choir, with nearly 70 members, has been rehearsing diligently for their upcoming Easter in Music and Song concert. Under the able directorship of Louna Stofberg the program features a blend of well-known favourites and lesser-known gems accompanied by specific texts from scripture. The selection of music will lift the spirit of the audience as they walk the path of Christ from Gethsemane to Calvary and the Resurrection.
With numerous solo voices as well as a selection of instruments, played by professional musicians, this concert promises to be a soul-enriching event not to be missed.
Proceeds from Pro Musica Choir’s performances form part of donations made by the choir to NGO’s and NPO’s for community upliftment. Projects that promote the status of performing arts in the Overstrand area are also supported.
The concert starts at 16:00. Tickets at R150 each are available at the Hermanus NG Moedergemeente church office as well as at the doors on the day of the concert.
