Nceba Ntshinga, an alleged taxi owner in Hermanus was shot and killed in the early hours of Saturday 13 June near a driving school. This is according to Sergeant Wesley Twigg, media liaison officer of the Western Cape South African Police Service (Saps).
The shooting incident took place at about 06:30 near a driving school in Zwelihle. The adult male was shot and fatally wounded which led to the registration of a murder case for investigation following the fatal incident.
The registration of the murder case was done by Hermanus police. “Police members attended to the crime scene where they found the victim inside his vehicle with gunshot wounds to the body,” Twigg said in correspondence with Hermanus Times.
After medical personnel arrived on the scene they declared the victim dead. According to Twigg, the motive for the attack will be part of the police investigation.
