They wish to give something back to the community, and this is why they are hosting a Christmas Party Giveaway initiative.
River Mount Hope, a registered non-profit company, will host a Christmas party on 17 December in Hawston for underprivileged families.
“We want to host an event that will have a memorable and lasting impact on the community in terms of upliftment and empowerment,” an organiser said. “Our aim is to give the children and families a wonderful Christmas experience. We want to bless them with gifts, a luncheon, party packs and Christmas festivities such as music, face painting, and so on. We want to restore hope to the hopeless and bring joy to the world.”
River Mount Hope’s local mission is to provide support, mentoring, counselling and basic necessities to children and families in need, and provide resources to those requesting assistance. “Our goal is to help people in our community holistically, through many efforts that are making a huge difference, help them enjoy an abundant life and prepare them for the future,” the organiser said.
