Eskom Distribution is currently endeavouring to move closer to its customers by creating pop-up offices.
“Customers will no longer have to travel long distances to Eskom Hubs,” a spokesperson said.
“Not only does this ease the financial burden for many who use public transport, but it also means our customers no longer have to brave bad weather elements while waiting in long queues to be assisted by a customer service agent.”
According to the spokesperson in their endeavours to remain accessible to their customers, Eskom’s Customer Services will establish pop-up offices to bring its services to their valued customers.
“The pop-up offices will address general customer service enquiries and queries, such as metering, billing, transfer of ownership and follow-up on logged calls,” the spokesperson said.
The first pop-up office will be in Grabouw on 19 and 20 August, at the Gerald Wright Thusong Centre.
Its opening hours are from 09:00 to 14:00.
