Van der Stel Gymnastics Club — Gymnasts from Van der Stel Gymnastics Club recently represented the Cape Winelands district in women’s artistic gymnastics at the Western Cape championships. The competition was held in Saldanha Bay at the end of June. The local gymnasts brought home two gold, three silver and three bronze medals. The group who participated (behind from left) were Brooklynne Mwebya, Amber Jansen, Ukanyo Fipaza, Liyana Ntilashe and Azingce Fipaza. Front: Marike Bezuidenhout and Zara Williams.
