Kayamandi Netball Club — It was an action-packed Easter weekend in Khayamandi as the annual Easter Tournament was held at the local sports ground. The games started on Good Friday (3 April), followed by a 5 km fun run which saw locals taking to the trails at Papegaaiberg. On Monday (6 April) the finals were played with teams on the soccer pitch and netball court. On the netball court the Thunder Birds took on Makupala A with the Thunder Birds beating their opponents by five points. The finals saw the Thunder Birds taking on Khayamandi Netball Club and the action packed match ended with Khayamandi Netball Club being crowned the tournament champions for the second year in a row.
