Uniting Presbyterian Church in Southern Africa — The Uniting Presbyterian Church in Southern Africa’s Western Cape Presbytery Fellowship of Women recently held its fifth annual general meeting in Stellenbosch under the theme “Build My Temple with Cedars” (1 Kings 5:6). The gathering saw the women gathering in the Stellenbosch Town Hall from Thursday 6 to Sunday 9 August. Among the many topics discussed were spiritual growth, caring for communities through charitable projects and inclusivity for the LGBTQI community. The Fellowship of Women is an official, recognised national and regional association within the Uniting Presbyterian Church in Southern Africa formed through the historical merger of previous women’s associations.
