Entries for the 2026 Annual Mr & Miss Stellenbosch Pageant, a family-friendly celebration of talent, confidence and community leadership are officially open.

The platform is focused on developing young role-models who will use their influence to create positive change.

Over the years the titleholders have led impactful community projects and the organisers continue to nurture contestants who inspire their peers while tackling social issues in Stellenbosch and surrounds.

Open to all

The journey begins with our high tea and pre-judging extravaganza at Rietenbosch Primary School hall on Sunday 6 September, culminating in the Grand Crowning Gala at the Stellenbosch Town Hall on Saturday 7 November.

The pageant is open to residents from local communities, including Kayamandi, Cloetesville, Ida’s Valley, Jamestown, Central Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Kylemore, Meerlust, Klapmuts, Pniël, Lynedoch, Simondium and surrounds.

Entrants will vie in the following categories:

• Miss & Mr Toddler – ages four to nine;
• Junior/Pre-Teen – ages 10 to 13;
• Teen – ages 14 to 17;
• Senior – ages 18-plus;
• Mrs – married or unmarried moms ages 30-plus;
• Sir: married or unmarried dads ages 30-plus; and
• Miss & Mr LGBTQ – ages 18-plus.

“As one of the most respected pageants in the Cape Winelands we are now inviting local businesses for collaboration,” explained pageant director Enigma von Hamburg.

“Partners can support the main gala, pre-judging event, prizes, production, marketing, or our winners’ year-long community outreach programmes.

“We also welcome in-kind support of clothing, beauty, photography, printing, transport, catering, and media. In return, sponsors receive strong brand visibility with Stellenbosch families and the wider Winelands community, meaningful association with a youth development platform, and direct engagement opportunities at both events.”
