High-school mountain bikers will be in action at the first 2022 XCO schools MTB league race at Southey’s Vines in Main Road, Somerset West this Saturday (14 May).
Only pre-entries will be taken for the event on www.dirtpass.co.za.
Novice and experienced MTB riders can improve their skills with a training session by coach David Hogan at the Dirtopia Trail Centre at Muratie Wine Farm in Stellenbosch next Sunday (22 May).
A fundamental and a separate intermediate class is scheduled to be held from the centre, an outdoor shop which also sells permits for the Simonsberg trail system.
