A gender-based violence and women’s health programme hosted 100 women from Ward 86 in Nomzamo on Friday 12 August. The morning consisted of presentations by Cansa on breast and cervical cancer as well as self-defence demonstrations by the police. Those attending were also briefed on various gender-based-violence support avenues and interacted with a host of other services, including City Health.
