Strand: Die NG Gemeente Strand bied om 09:30 nog ’n legendariese lekker tradisionele basaar. Ná meer as 111 jaar se oefening wéét gemeentelede hoe om die tafels te laat kreun met smullekker pannekoek, koek en terte, kleinkoekies, snuisterye op die witolifant-tafel, tweedehandse klere, interessante boeke en tydskrifte en smullekker wegneemetes. Vir die kinders sal daar ’n springkasteel, speletjies, musiek en nog meer op die gras binne die kerk se parkeerterrein aangebied word. Die klere, boeke, naaldwerk en witolifant-items se verkope begin al van 07:00. Kyk uit vir die vlaggies op die hoek van Fagan- en Birkenheadstraat. Almal is welkom om saam te kuier. Somerset West: The South African Depression and Anxiety Group’s (Sadag) local support group for people living with depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder meets every Monday, alternatively in person (at the Coronation Avenue Methodist church at 18:00) and online. Somerset-Wes: Die Helderberg Senior-klub kom om 09:00 vir tee en verversings en om 09:30 vir samesang en die program by die NG gemeente Helderberg in Firmountweg byeen. Die gasspreker is Christie Fourie, ’n trotse lid van die Hottentots-Holland Tuinbou-klub, wat besoekers sal inlig oor hul klub-aktiwiteite en eie tuinmaak. Alle afgetredenes is hartlik welkom. Strand: Die Helderberg-tak van die Vroue Landbouvereniging (VLV) vergader om 09:30 in die onthaalsaal van die Strand-Noord NG gemeente. Dit is ’n kleiner groepie wat by gemeenskapsprojekte betrokke raak, interessante sprekers reël en skeppend deelneem aan aktiwiteite. Die VLV-lede kom byeen vir ’n praatjie oor wat Helpende Hand Solidariteit op onderwysgebied in die Kom bydra. Besoekers word hartlik uitgenooi na ’n gesellige oggend.
