Somerset West: A group art exhibition themed “All Creatures Great and Small” opens at Bright Street Gallery at 33 Bright Street at 18:30. The exhibition runs until Friday 15 March. Somerset West: A violin recital featuring Francois Voges, accompanied by pianist Benjamin van Eeden, takes place at the Somerset West Library hall at 11:00. Please note, no recordings are allowed during the performance, which includes E Lalo: “Sympphony Espagnole – Allegro ma non troppo”, H Wieniawski – “Violin Concerto No 2” and A Dvorak – “Sonatina Op 100”. Admission is free. The concert is presented in collaboration with the Somerset West Library and Friends of the Somerset West Library. The piano chair is sponsored by Heuer Pianos.
