Running enthusiasts will cross the starting line in participation of the Sportsmans Warehouse Trail Run Series continues at the Warwick Wine Estate on Sunday 28 May.
Dirtopia produces the Change of Season event with two distances to choose from: a 10,5 km and 6,25 km circular routes.
The routes will have single-track trails against the slopes of Klapmutskop with views of Simonsberg and a refreshment station with fresh fruit and Powerade as well as Coke at the finish-line. All finishers will receive a medal and of course stand a chance to win prizes in the lucky draws with top quality socks from FALKE, vouchers from Sportsmans Warehouse vouchers, and wine from Warwick.
Registration starts at 07:30 with the longest distance, kick-starting the day’s running action at 08:30; the shorter route follows at 08:45. Avid walkers and children are welcome to participate in the short distance event and prizes will be awarded to the top men and women participants in each distance crossing the finish line. A coffee station will be open from early morning and grab-n-go wraps will be on offer when runners return to the courtyard. Reserve a lunch via the Warwick website to enjoy a full day on this beautiful farm.
Live timing by Trail Tag is optional (but recommended) and professional photographer Chris Hitchcock will capture the memories. Tags can be rented or bought online and you can even book a massage with your entry. Ultimate Performance Therapy gives 20 minute massage at the finish.
