According to GB Pioneers coach Jacqueline Grotius-Burns, the team played four games between Monday 21 March and Thursday 21 April, notching up impressive victories in all four outings. The recorded wins over Intlanganiso (20-0), Excelsior Secondary School (20-10), Bernadino Heights Secondary School (20-5) and Amazonios (20-5).
Grotius-Burns said all players brought their best game, but singled out leading try scorer and full-back Courtney Jenniker (four tries) as well as Jodie Appolis (loosehead prop), Chante Louw (flyhalf) and Lean Dombo (tighthead prop).
