Local seniors were treated to a morning filled with music, laughter and nostalgia on Friday 7 August, as the Strand Dienssentrum for Seniors hosted a memorable Tommy Dell show at Huis Soeterus.

The hall at Huis Soeterus served as the perfect backdrop for the gathering, bringing local residents and friends together for an uplifting morning of entertainment.

Iconic performer Tommy Dell captivated the audience from the start, having the crowd singing along to popular tunes, sharing laughs and thoroughly enjoying the lively atmosphere. For many in attendance, the event offered a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow community members and create lasting memories.

The special morning was made possible through generous local sponsorship. Strand Dienssentrum for Seniors extended a heartfelt vote of thanks to Leon Bredenkamp of RE/MAX Helderberg, whose sponsorship made the performance possible, as well as to all the volunteers and attendees whose participation helped make the event a resounding success.

Organisers noted that the morning was “truly one to remember”, leaving everyone in attendance with warm hearts, fond memories and plenty of smiles.
