Strand Municipal Building is winter ready!

The City of Cape Town’s Mayoral Committee member for Corporate Services, Theresa Uys, was accompanied by Facilities Management staff on a visit to the building to see its winter preparedness improvements that include the installation of a generator, on-going grass cutting, window cleaning and the installation of a fence in front of the building on Monday 12 May.

“I was happy to meet the staff at the Strand Municipal Building and to see how they are preparing for the winter,” said Uys. “I am pleased to see that the Facilities Management team are hard at work ensuring that a visit to City buildings is as pleasant and productive as possible for all our residents. It also gave me an opportunity to discuss issues with members of the public and to see what improvements are being made. This visit forms part of ensuring that we are building a city of hope for all our residents.”
