Gordon’s Bay Yacht Club (GBYC) celebrated the new year with a Glitz & Glamour New Year’s Eve dance on Tuesday 31 December.
The festivities kicked off at 19:00, drawing guests eager to celebrate in style. On arrival, guests enjoyed complimentary glasses of champagne, setting the tone for a truly indulgent evening.
The vibrant atmosphere thrived thanks to DJ Peter Wyness, who kept everyone dancing as midnight approached. The venue sparkled with candlelight, while disco balls and mirrors reflected light and created a mesmerising backdrop for guests watching the last sunset of 2024.
Many guests praised the team for the stunning decor, which featured soft, elegant tones that provided the perfect backdrop for all the evening’s glitz and glamour. Formal dinner seating exuded sophistication, while ambient lighting created a warm glow throughout the venue. Delicate floral arrangements and twinkling stars on the tables added a romantic touch, making the event visually captivating and truly memorable for all.

The evening reached its peak with the thrilling midnight countdown, where guests danced joyfully into the wee hours. Adding to the fun, the GBYC Commodore even danced on tables with guests!
