Learners and staff of the Helderberg International School again showed their support for Operation Smile South Africa (Ossa) through a fun day hosted at Strand Waterworld on Friday 6 March. Through Ossa, medical volunteers repair childhood facial deformities while building public and private partnerships that advocate sustainable healthcare systems for children and families in SA, Southern Africa and around the world. Ossa is part of a global alliance of Operation Smile foundations and chapters dedicated to providing free treatment to children and adults born with cleft lips and cleft palates. These eager water babies, all learners of the school, enjoyed a fun day of action at the Strand facility.
