Helderberg Hospice was delighted to receive a donation of two nearly-new hospital beds from Cure Day Hospital in Paardevlei, Somerset West on Thursday 5 September. These form part of a total donation of seven hospital beds. Cure Day Hospital supports the community organisation regularly with much-appreciated medical equipment, which is used to ensure quality health services for patients, both in the homes and at the 24-hour support centre in Somerset West. Pictured are Rudiwaan Greef of Helderberg Hospice collecting the beds from Chantal Adams (Cure Day Hospital marketing manager) and Nicole Stecher (Cure Day Hospital manager).

Helderberg Hospice also expressed its gratitude for Beverley Botha and her special angels for their donation of Blessing Bags for its patients. The bags contain essential basic toiletries for all patients, whether in the support centre or receiving care in their home, to bring them much needed comfort and dignity. Botha’s family experienced care from Helderberg Hospice first-hand and this touching act of kindness honours the time they needed support. If you would like to contribute and assist in supporting the organisation’s patient care, contact Helderberg Hospice on 021 852 4608 or nfo@helderberghospice.org.za.
