Somerset West Primary School honoured many bright sparks at the Grade 4 to 7 prize-giving which took place in the school hall on Tuesday 7 November. The award recipients were congratulated by headmaster Kobus van Schalkwyk and School Governing Body member Marilee Barnard. Pictured with the latter is avid athlete Blaike van Reenen who was honoured as Victrix Ludorum.


Ace athlete Zaiden Bell clinched the title of Victor Ludorum.

Micah Eyman serves as proof that the saying “What you put in is what you get out” rings true. The proud Summie was honoured as Top Achiever in Grade 4.

Alyssa da Silva reaped the fruits of her hard work by clinching the title of Top Achiever in Grade 5.

The academic year draws to a close on a positive note for Carter van Reenen, who raked in the title of Top Achiever for Grade 6.
