Two well known premium private school groups, Reddam House and Reddford House, are now offering parents state-of-the-art co-educational boarding at select campuses across South Africa.
Since the opening of the first Reddam House in 2000, the group has taken great strides, growing to eight schools across the country and establishing itself as one of the most prominent names in South African private education.
In 2019, Reddam House Somerset and Reddam House Durbanville will launch their own bespoke home-from-home residences.
Boarding at Reddam House and Reddford House schools will be offered to boys and girls from Grade 6 to 12 and Grade 7 to 12 at Reddam House Durbanville, Somerset and Umhlanga, providing a professional, homely and structured environment to students.
Students will generally reside in boutique apartment-style rooms, complete with en-suite facilities and private study areas. Members of the Reddam Res family will be available to fetch students from airports and bus stations when required.
The schools’ leadership believes that through the convivial and supportive structure of this exclusive home-from-home environment, students will be able to better attain success and reach their potential in all spheres – academic, sporting and cultural.
“Reddam Residences offer students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves more fully in the holistic educational ethos of our schools,” said Sheena Crawford Kempster, managing director of Reddam House .
The decision to offer boarding at select schools is another value add for the Reddam House and Reddford House brands.
“Both school brands have made a name for themselves locally by offering a premium independent private education to students that is holistic and founded on global best practices, including a focus on the individual needs of each student in our care.”
