All-you-need green smoothie
Try this mean green smoothie with all the health benefits you need for a morning boost! Spinach is a good source of iron and magnesium, while parsley is a good anti-oxidant, and ginger is an anti-inflammatory agent.
Ingredients:
- 250g spinach or baby spinach
- 2 green apples
- A handful Italian parsley
- 1 ripe avocado
- 60 ml (¼ cup) raw almonds
- 2-3 cm ginger
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) Nature’s Choice Green Superfood Smoothie Mix (*optional)
- Juice of 2 limes
- Celery stick, to garnish
- Parsley, to garnish
Method: Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth, pour into your glasses and garnish with celery sticks and parsley.

Citrus and turmeric make this home-brewed green tea perfect to detox, and healthy for your gut.
Ingredients:
- 500 ml water
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) apple cider vinegar
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) honey (replace with maple/agave syrup if vegan)
- Juice of 1-2 oranges
- Juice of 1 lime
- 3-4 cm fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 125 ml (½ cup) pomegranate rubies
- 5 ml (1 tsp) turmeric
- 2.5 ml (½ tsp) baobab powder
- 4 green teabags
Method: Combine all the ingredients into a saucepan and allow to simmer for about 10 minutes. Strain and serve warm.
