Parel Vallei’s High School under 18-A girls hockey team had a great start to the season when they finished in second place at the Fairmont tournament in Durbanville during March school holidays. The results were as follows: beat Drostdy 13-0, Glenwood House 10-1, Curro Durbanville 12-0, Trinity House 3-0, York 5-0, drew against Stellenberg 2-2 and lost against Hudson Park 2-3 in the final. They showed true Blue Thread spirit, fighting ’til the end!
