Police hunt ‘dangerous’ detainee who escaped from prison transport

Cape Town police are on the hunt for Shepart Chfutuku, a detainee who escaped from a prison transport van near a Muizenberg railway crossing on Thursday 12 December. Detained for a robbery in Gordon’s Bay, he is believed to be dangerous and linked to an armed-robbery syndicate. Police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stop at 08600 10111 or use the MySAPS app.
