Herman de Beer and Lisa Alexander of Strand Athletics Club were among 29 000 participants who toughed out the gruelling Totalsports Two Oceans Ultra-marathon under near perfect weather conditions in the Mother City on Saturday (15 April). The pair crossed the finish-line in five hours and 35 minutes, and their sheer joy on completion was evident.Photos: Rashied Isaacs
