A successful Transport Month roadshow came to a conclusion on Tuesday 29 October at the Garden Village Community Hall in Somerset West.
The event, organised by The City of Cape Town’s Urban Mobility team brought its provided residents with an opportunity to interact directly with Urban Mobility experts and learn about future plans for their area. The team also highlighted various career opportunities within the sector.
“I’m pleased that residents took the time to attend and engage with our team,” said councillor Rob Quintas, Mayco member for Urban Mobility. “They were able to discuss transport-related issues and receive assistance with general service requests. While Transport Month has concluded, we encourage continued engagement with the City through Sub Councils.”
The roadshow was part of the City’s broader efforts to promote sustainable and efficient urban mobility.
