The Church Street Methodist church commemorated its 190th year on Sunday (28 January) with a special service in honour of its rich legacy and enduring impact, officially launching its celebrations. The special service was led by Reverend Siyabulela Lungana and attended by proud congregation members who shared in the delight of marking the milestone with the first in a series of celebratory events scheduled to take place throughout the year. One of the church’s oldest members, Anne Gordon (middle) unveiled one of the new banners specially printed to celebrate the occasion.
