The headline event, Homeless Awareness Day: Live the Experience took place at Charles Morkel Stadium in Strand on Friday 18 October and Saturday 19 October and was supported by dozens of businesses and individuals. Participants were afforded a glimpse of what it’s like to sleep on the streets and some too the opportunity to engage and interact with the less fortunate. A number of social services, advice, support and assistance were afforded to the homeless, with some of them even registering to attend a safe space. There were also entertainment, food and fun enjoyed by all. Pictured are the organisers along with supporters of the event.Photos: Yaseen Gaffar
