Round Table Somerset West 31 hosted their annual induction dinner at Avontuur Wine Estate on Thursday 9 February to celebrate the success of the past year as well as induct the new chairman for the coming year.

This year Round Table Somerset West 31 was proud to announce the distribution of more than R200 000 in the Helderberg community to those in need. The outgoing chairman, Nikko Maree, expressed his deepest thanks to the members of Round Table Somerset 31 and awarded a few sought after awards during the course of the lovely evening.

Among prize winners, the Certificate of Excellence was awarded to Mr André Bouwer for outstanding service delivered to the Table.

The “Table Leg” of the year for the partner of a Tabler who who was a tower of support to her spouse and other tablers was awarded to Ms Alicia Engelbrecht. The Tabler of the Year was awarded to Frans Gerber, and the new incoming chairman, Aliston Beviss-Challinor, expressed his drive to push the community service of Round Table Somerset West 31 even further. “We wish him all the best and know he will steer the Table into making an impactful change in our community,” said Maree.
