A small group of volunteers responded to the call by the Lourens River Conservation Society to assist in a litter clean-up and alien vegetation hack on the banks of the Lourens River on Sunday 12 March. The target area was the vicinity of Island Park along Voortrekker Street, which was successfully cleared and cleaned at the end of the two-hour session.
