Off to cross-country champs

Samantha Julies and Mikayla Mbasa of Anton Bantu Athletics Academy will represent Macassar Athletics Club at the National Cross-country Championships, which will take place in Rustenburg on Saturday 17 September. Mbasa will also attend the National Schools Cross-country Championships to be held in East London this weekend. Both girls have performed extremely well this season and are hoping a shortage of funds will not prevent them from competing on the national stage. To contribute towards their travelling and accommodation expenses contact their coach, Patrick Jansen, on 071 172 3362.
