Occupants unscathed after taxi ploughs through wall

The driver of a taxi and his passengers were fortunate to be unscathed following an accident in Somerset West on Monday afternoon (25 March). The taxi crashed into the entrance wall of Kingfisher Park along Old Paardevlei Road around 14:00. According to an eyewitness, the taxi driver attempted to overtake a delivery truck from the inside lane (left), and swerved to avoid collision, but went through the wall instead. Emergency services responded to the scene and reported that no injuries had occurred.Photo: Yaseen Gaffar
