This year the popular children’s character Noddy will teach the little ones that littering is bad.
Every year, for the past 50 years Round Table Somerset West 31 has hosted the best family fun-filled party in the Helderberg – Noddy’s Party!
This year will be no different, with the appearance of fan favourites like Barney and Friends, The Avengers, Spider-Man and Anna and Elsa.
“Our friends from the Hottentots Holland Brass Band will be there to take the children on a musical march, the Happy Days Drummies will do their bit and we will be amazed by the talent from the Rhapsody Dance a’nAcademy,” said Nikko Maree, chairperson of Round Table Somerset West 31.
“We might even see a real wizard in our midst, but let’s not give away all our surprises. Come and join us at Vergelegen wine estate under the biggest Yellowwood tree in the world.”
Parents can take along a picnic basket to enjoy on the hay bales while the Tablers entertain the children. Guests are also encouraged to take a small gift (clearly marked with your child’s name) along so that Santa can hand over a present to all the good children of the Helderberg community.
