Hospice Week, marked from Sunday 5 to Saturday 11 May this year, brought much-needed awareness of palliative care and hospice services.

Local ladies of the lamp were honoured at a Nurse’s Day event in Strand on Sunday 12 May. Entitled “Let’s rock the nurse runway”, and hosted by Oneiro Health, it acknowledged nurses for their continuously vital role in health care.
