Hundreds of people flocked to the much-anticipated grand opening of The Butcher’s Market at the Decor Centre in Somerset West on Wednesday 27 July.
With several branches all over Cape Town, the Somerset West branch was two years in the making.
The Butcher’s Market offers quality, locally sourced meat products at affordable prices that are 100% halaal.
Dozens had queued outside the store long before opening time to make the most of amazing opening specials and get a first look at all the products on offer.
The Butcher’s Market Somerset West announced 1 000 winners of vouchers ahead of opening, and on the day hosted several more giveaways and prizes, much to the delight of customers.
“We are new to the Helderberg and always have to drive to Cape Town for our meats,” said Zenobia Sampson. “It’s so convenient now that The Butcher’s Market has opened in Somerset West.”
Happy customers Farzana and Shaakier Samsodien took full advantage of the opening sale. “The specials are incredible, and the quality is outstanding,” Farzana said.
Nola Prins and Muneeba Oelf were impressed with the efficient services at The Butchers Market. “The variety of good-quality meats at such low prices is amazing!” Prins declared ecstatically. “We’re so glad that The Butcher’s Market is now right at our doorstep.”
