A Flight for Birders identification and conservation course will be held in Somerset West on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 February.
The contents of this specific course will be adapted in the following way:
- The course will focus on local and regional species and conservation issues as they apply to the Helderberg/Stellenbosch region. The result of this is that roughly 65% of the course contents will be adapted to addressing regional issues. This should give previous participants new insights into the wonders of birding in the area, hence they should consider participating.
- The course now places heavy emphasis on the growth of birding tourism, and therefore people working in that industry, as well as product owners, should be encouraged to participate.
