Somerset West police have opened an inquest docket after a newborn baby died in Garden Village, Somerset West last week. Circumstances around the infant’s death remain unknown at this stage, and paramedics responding to the incident were allegedly initially prohibited from accessing the scene by a group of hostile residents outside the address.
