Victoria Park Neighbourhood Watch (VPNHW), in partnership with various crime-fighting organisations, successfully held a mass visibility patrol on Friday (7 February). Its patrollers were joined by security providers (including Gordon’s Bay Security, GB Med Response, Vetus Schola, ADT Fidelity, Secure Rite Security and AM Security), members of neighbouring watches, council and law-enforcement representatives, local police officers and the provincial minister for Police Oversight and Community Safety Anroux Marais. Minister of Police Oversight and Community Safety, Anroux Marais, expressed her gratitude for the joint initiative and encouraged community members to continue their efforts, emphasising that fighting crime is everyone’s responsibility.
