Madison’s sweet birthday treat

Madison Bennett, who celebrated her seventh birthday on Sunday (13 February), decided to share her special day with children at the Heartlands Baby Sanctuary in Somerset West. The caring heart visited the home and handed out cupcakes, much to the delight of the little ones. “I wanted to do something nice for others, and it made me really happy to help the children at Heartlands. I’ll definitely do it again,” Madison said of her community service. Her mother Liesl is proud of her daughter’s choice. “She said to me: ‘Mommy, I would be happy even if I did not get any presents, because I have a family’. I found that so profoundly heart-warming.” Madison was nonetheless spoilt with a puppy on her birthday.
