The Lwandle Spiritual Crime Prevention Forum (SCPF) will host a prayer session for matric learners on Monday 12 October, ahead of their final examinations.

The session is for the 2026 matric learners in the area, as well as their families, in preparation for the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations, a nationwide assessment. The examinations begin on Tuesday, with Computer Applications Technology (CAT) Paper 1, and continue until Thursday 26 November, with CAT and Information Technology (IT) Paper 1 rewrites.

Somikazi Panyana, SCP chairperson, explains that the class of 2026 is entering the final, most critical stretch of their school careers as final matric examinations draw near. Across the nation, communities, schools and families are uniting to uplift these Gr. 12 learners, recognising that this high-pressure season requires not just academic preparation, but deep emotional and spiritual support.

“Therefore, it is with these reasons that we plan to have this prayer and plead with our God Almighty for the smooth running of the matric final examination process till the end,” she says.

The SCP has appealed to schools to send learners, teachers, parents and school governing body administrators to the session.
