Police crime experts are still hard at work searching for suspects involved in a shooting incident that took place in Asanda Village, Lwandle, around 21:55 on Monday night (18 March).
“Two unknown assailants entered a shack and asked for two of the occupants,” Sergeant Mthokozisi Gama, spokesperson for Lwandle police, related. “Immediately, both assailants took firearms out and shot three of the occupants, two of whom died on the scene, while the third victim survived and is receiving treatment in hospital.
“Two cases of murder and one of attempted murder have been opened for investigation.”
