LSEN learners selected for Polokwane games

Rusthof LSEN school learners Robin Lee Thomas (left) and Cashwin April (15), pictured here with sports coordinator assistant Isma-eel Gafieldien, have been selected to represent Western Province in the South African Sports Association for the Intellectually Impaired (SAS II) games that will be held in Polokwane, Limpopo, during the September holidays. April will participate in the 800 m long distance running event, with 18-year-old Robin Lee in the down syndrome sprints. The school has appealed to the community to assist the learners in raising the funds they need to make the journey (R6 850 each).
