Santa Ellis, Mejean Stapelberg, Louise Diffenthal and Christel Theron enjoyed refreshments before the opening show of Jack and the Beanstalk, a musical comedy which was staged at The Playhouse Theatre in Somerset West from Tuesday to Saturday (23-27 August). The production, which revived the pantomime-theatre magic, offered enthralling family entertainment with a barrel of laughs, delightful music and engaging scenes for enjoyable audience participatory fun.
