Last Thursday (9 February) I visited Food Lover’s Market in Somerset West to buy a few items. After I was home a few hours I received a call from someone at the store to inform me I had left my wallet at the till and requesting whether I could collect it.
I was shocked that I was so negligent, as my driver’s licence and money were in the wallet.
They went to a lot of trouble to trace me; they found an old business card where I used to work inside the wallet, but I did not have the same phone number. They phoned the number and luckily the new person had my new phone number.
I want to express my gratitude to the staff and management of Food Lover’s Market for their honesty and excellent service.
