Almost a year ago, I stared my journey with sprouts. Today I’d like to briefly share a bit about my journey with sprouts and what they have done for me personally.
I’ve been struggling with Crohn’s disease for close to 40 years of my life. It has been a painfully bumpy ride, that has been changed dramatically thanks to sprouts.
My digestion and absorption of minerals and vitamins has improved and today, stomach aches and pains feel as if they are gone forever.
I hardly ever need to wear my glasses these days and my short-term memory, is much sharper now. I am now able to enjoy a full day’s work and energy levels are holding up very well, while doing daily exercise no longer feels like a chore. All these results from eating approximately one to two cups of sprouts per day.
They are not a meal on their own for me but a food nutrient-booster. I add them to almost everything I eat. Sprinkle a few sprouts over your meal or add them to a stir-fry, to enhance the goodness. I have added other health-aiding products, exercises and methods to my diet. It is however sprouts that started my road to wellness.
I am currently enjoying reading The Sprout Book by Douglas Evans and looking forward in sharing the mind-blowing information about what sprouts can do towards healthy living with you.
I am starting to believe that sprouts have the potential to rid us of all diseases. I will soon be looking at comparative studies between broccoli and broccoli sprouts.
Broccoli sprouts are the only well researched sprouts, due to the anti-cancerous organic compound Sulforaphane. Therefore the information I have to share should be most accurate.
