Strand: The ABET Class of 2022 presents a fundraising market day at Strand Secondary School from 08:00 to 14:00. Quality pre-loved clothing and a variety of food will be on offer. Funds are for necessary repairs at the school. Interested stallholders can contact Shakoor Vallie on 078 392 9842. Stallholders must bring their own gazebos, trestles and table tops. A table will only be provided to the first 20 stallholders that secure their booking by paying R100.

Somerset West: The Southey’s Car Boot (previously known as Southey’s Thrift and Secondhand Market) returns to Southey’s Vines at 186 Main Road in Somerset West from 08:30 to 14:00. Somerset West: Goedeverwachting Estate’s weekly Sunday Market at 43 Old Sir Lowry’s Pass Road will take place from 09:00 to 15:00. Besides the usual fantastic food and fare, there is a shaded flea market, and free art gallery in the historic Manor House. For children tagging along there are free-roaming animals to experience and free jumping castles.
