Journey through local farms’ wine wonders

Oude Werf Hotel in Church Street, Stellenbosch, is hosting a winemakers’ series that will take guests on a journey through Stellenbosch and Somerset West. The venue is partnering with top wine farms for the series of special evenings that celebrate the region’s local terroir and unique microclimates. It offers a blend of good food, great wine, and the warm company of fellow enthusiasts. It started with Muratie Wine Estate on Saturday (25 May) and continues once a month until September, each dinner featuring a different vineyard. Vergenoegd Löw is up next, on Saturday 29 June, followed by Lourensford on Saturday 27 July, Zandvliet on Saturday 31 August and Kleine Zalze on Saturday 28 September. Each evening includes a four-course menu designed to complement the featured wines at R695 per person. All the events start at 18:00 for 18:30.
